I had leftover crab cake mixture, so I made stuffed mushrooms. Take the stems out of button mushrooms such that there is a place to stuff. Portobello mushrooms would work as well or better, probably. Put the crab cake mixture in the mushrooms, put mushrooms on an oiled baking tray. Drizzle a little oil on top of mushrooms. Bake at 400* F for 10-15 minutes, until the mushrooms are soft and the filling golden.
This was so good that we might skip the crab cakes entirely next time, and just make the mix explicitly as a filling for mushrooms.
