Pastrami Hash and Rye Muffins

Here is the recipe for the pastrami hash. The sunny-side up eggs and abundant hot sauce are required. I made some caraway rye muffins to go with them.

Caraway Rye Muffins (makes 12):

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup rye flour
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp caraway seeds
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup olive oil (or other oil)

Mix all dry ingredients, then liquids separately. Combine then pour into greased muffin tins or muffin cups. Bake at 400* F for 15 minutes.
